Greens Kitami is located in the Okhotsk region of Hokkaido, more specifically, Kitami City. We produce the most onions in all of Japan.
The land of Kitami spans from the edge of The Taisetsuzan National Park in central Hokkaido, home to the tallest mountains of Hokkaido. And stretches all the way to the Sea of Okhotsk, located in Northeast Hokkaido. Resulting in a very diverse land, including everything from mountains to the sea and everything in between. These blessed lands, and ideal climatic conditions are the reason we are able to grow such delicious agricultural crops. Due to the high percentage of sunshine and large temperature changes, crops can grow and store nutrients very well.
The soup of Greens Kitami is a combination of these deep flavors from the land of Hokkaido, offered in a soup.

In the Kitami region, the largest onion producer in Japan, beautiful, sweet onions are cultivated by the hard work of the highly experienced farmers.Year after year, farmers strive to improve the quality of their onions. Through a combination of time and the sharing of knowlege and experience with each other, they are able to produce amazing onions today and will continue doing so into the far future.
From the maintenance of the soil in the fields, to the skills aquired from farming for many years, each onion grown here is filled with the thoughts of the farmers.
